ChangeLog Reporting
The Design Systems team maintains a changelog to document updates, improvements, and breaking changes across components and guidelines. As the system evolves rapidly, the changelog has grown in volume, making it increasingly difficult for designers and developers to quickly locate and reference relevant changes.
Currently, changelog entries are presented in a linear format, requiring users to manually scan through long lists to find updates from a specific period. This creates friction, slows down workflows, and increases the risk of missed or misunderstood changes.
To address this, the goal of this redesign is to introduce a time-based filtering mechanism directly within Figma. This will allow users to quickly isolate changes from specific sprints or release cycles, improving discoverability, clarity, and adoption of the design system while working within existing Figma constraints.
